Due to the fact that the band wants to make sure that only their fans get access to tickets to their Webster Hall show in New York this Tuesday, we are doing something that is solely to protect you. Tickets for the show can ONLY be purchased day of show at Virgin MegaStore in Union Square between 2:00 and 3:30pm. The cost is 19.99 cash only. We are selling 1360 tickets and it is a one wristband per person purchase limit. You must be there as the wristbands will be put on you at the store.

MCR will be performing a very special in-store performance at Vintage Vinyl this Monday the 23rd at 7pm. If you pre-order your copy of their new "The Black Parade" in person at the store or at their site - vvinyl.com - you will get a wristband to see the show. They'll also be signing copies of their album there after the show. Hurry - space is limited. One wristband per purchase. The show will happen, rain or shine, so if you see clouds, bring an umbrella. So tomorrow is a very big day for us. Tomorrow is the day that our video premieres in the US. The Black Parade is commencing tomorrow, Wednesday the 29th. If you have something called "MTV2," you can watch the video premiere for "Welcome To The Black Parade" every hour. If you have something called "MTV," you can watch it between 3:30 and 4:30 EST/ 12:30 and 1:30 PST. And if you have something called a "computer," you can watch it on MTV.com anytime you choose. We are sure you will find it in lots of other fun places as well.
And if you live in something called "another country," you can watch it today on assorted channels.

" Frank Iero has spoken exclusively to Rock Sound about the new My Chemical Romance album:
When we wrote this record the hard part wasn’t us trying to top our last album or write new songs; the challenge was for us to make the best record we can possibly ever make. We wanted to reinvent ourselves as people and everybody that worked on the record put everything they had in it. When you pour out every ounce of gut it is tough and its frightening to have it coming out soon. Some people thought they knew what our band was about, thought they knew who the individuals in this band were by listening to the songs. You will realise you were wrong when you hear the record. It's scary for us but in the end we will think it will be ok. Its like going to your psychiatrist but your confidant is the world. We bared our soul in the music we made for the new record."
No album or song titles were divulged but the MCR guitarist did hint that the record may come arrive as a 'birthday present' for himself. For more on the band and Frank's clothing-label-book-whatever production company Skeleton Crew be sure to check out forthcoming issues of Rock Sound magazine."
